STEP 1
COMPLETE ONLINE
QUESTIONNAIRE FORM

• Pay $175 FEE for our service to complete all Texas DMV paperwork.

STEP 2
PURCHASE A
SURETY BOND

• WAIT for the bond company to send you an application.
• A SEPARATE FEE will be required by the bond company.
• Pricing is based on the value of the vehicle / camper / motorcycle / trailer.

STEP 3
FIND YOUR LOCAL
TAX OFFICE

• After bond is processed, a final packet will be mailed to you.
• TAKE PACKET to your local tax office WITHIN 30 DAYS.
• Tax, Title & Registration fees will be required by the Tax Office.

What is a bonded title?
A bonded title is a process used in Texas to provide title to vehicles when the proper evidence of ownership is not available. The bonded title law was past by the Texas Legislature in the late 1980’s to provide an alternative to a Tax Collector Hearing to secure a Texas title for Texas residents. Many counties in the state no longer hold hearings.
Who can apply for a bonded title?

In order to qualify, you must be:

  • A Texas Resident, or
  • Military personnel stationed in Texas.

The vehicle must be in your possession and cannot be considered junked, nonrepairable, or otherwise ineligible for a title. Although not required to be operational, it must be a complete vehicle including a frame, body and motor or if a motorcycle, a frame and motor.
